I lead with the “why” in mind.  I believe the “why” drives educational work - guiding what we design and how learning takes shape. By grounding decisions in purpose, I help teachers connect the school’s mission to curriculum and teaching practices so learning stays meaningful, relevant, and aligned to our shared values. When these layers are woven together, students experience learning that is intentional, coherent, and rooted in their growth.

I partner with teachers to co-design learning that is responsive and purposeful.  Together, we plan units, assessments, and learning experiences that center student voice, prioritize conceptual understanding, and leverage flexible approaches. By examining student work and learning data, we gain insight into student thinking and progress, helping us determine meaningful next steps. Collaboration allows us to design with clarity and intention while adapting to the needs of students and the context of the classroom.

I coach with a mindset of continuous learning.  I believe reflection, experimentation, and revision deepen instructional practice and build confidence over time. By working beside teachers to navigate challenges, take informed risks, and reflect on impact, I hope they feel supported in growing their practice, develop confidence and passion for this work, and nurture learning environments where students belong and thrive.
